FORMER OWNERSHIP
In 1996, Roy and Pamela Blythe founded Blythe Design + co. in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Brought to the Western Slope by the design and construction of the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center, they soon made a home and business here in the Grand Valley, embracing the small-town lifestyle while embodying big-city capabilities for various public, institutional, and commercial projects. With a combined experience of more than 80 years in specialized design and construction, Roy and Pamela delighted clients with their in-depth involvement throughout the design and construction process, honesty in fiscal responsibility, and keen eye for memorable aesthetic results.
The Blythe team established an influential presence as designers of the Western Slope; their wisdom, creativity, and technical excellence provides the foundation and ongoing inspiration for BG + co. and our fellow community partners.

John M. Potter has been with Blythe for 27 years. As of January 2025, John will be saying goodbye to BG+co and hello to well deserved retirement.
